The Bright Edge of Luck
This month’s Botanical: Orange Peel. There’s something unmistakable about orange peel.
It’s not just citrus, it’s structure, tension, and light.
At Lucky Stash Botanical Tequila, every botanical is chosen with intention. Not to mask the agave, but to elevate it. Orange peel plays a precise role in that balance: it sharpens, lifts, and connects.
Why Orange Peel?
Orange peel is not about sweetness.
It’s about the oils, the aromatic, slightly bitter compounds that live in the skin.
These oils bring:
- A crisp, top-note brightness
- A refined bitterness that adds structure
- A long, clean finish that keeps the palate awake
In other words, orange peel doesn’t sit on top of the tequila.
It activates it.
How It Enriches Lucky Stash
Lucky Stash is built on 27 botanicals layered over a 100% blue agave blanco tequila base. That foundation is already expressive: herbal, citrus-forward, slightly floral.
Orange peel acts like a bridge:
- It connects the citrus botanicals with the deeper, warmer notes (like roots and woods)
- It enhances the perception of freshness without adding sugar
- It gives the blend a more defined “edge”: cleaner, sharper, more intentional
Without orange peel, the profile would feel softer, rounder.
With it, Lucky becomes more precise. More memorable.
What Makes It Different
Most citrus-forward spirits rely on juice or artificial flavoring.
We don’t.
We use the peel, the part of the fruit that holds the most complexity.
It’s more subtle, more aromatic, and far more elegant.
That’s the difference:
Not louder.
Just better built. A finer Botanical Tequila
Cocktail: Sunlit Orange Spritz

Bright, structured, and dangerously easy to drink.
This is where orange peel truly comes alive.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Lucky Stash Botanical Tequila
- 0.5 oz fresh orange juice
- 0.25 oz lemon juice
- 0.5 oz elderflower liqueur (like St-Germain)
- 2–3 oz dry prosecco
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Orange peel (for garnish)
How to Make
Add Lucky Stash, orange juice, lemon juice, elderflower liqueur, and bitters into a shaker with ice.
Shake briefly and strain into a chilled wine glass or coupe.
Top with prosecco.
Express an orange peel over the glass and drop it in.
Taste Profile
Citrus-forward, lightly floral, with a crisp bitter edge.
Elegant, not sweet. Structured, not heavy.
Final Note
Orange peel is easy to overlook.
Until you remove it, and everything feels flatter.
That’s the philosophy behind Lucky Stash:
Every element matters. Every layer has a purpose.
Because luck isn’t random.
It’s built.
